Monster Control Animations, a new series of artwork inspired by retro Ultraman and the idea of having giant monsters descend on Hong Kong! A world where colossal monsters surrender to control and embrace ordinary lives and jobs in today’s Hong Kong.

Each artwork depicts a scene from the streets of Hong Kong featuring a giant Monster reminiscent of the Ultraman series. These Monsters have given up terrorising the city and instead are doing mundane jobs or simply hanging out having given in to control.

Created in the style of the 1980s magazines that celebrated ultraman culture. This series will be exhibited with Young Soy gallery from Dec 7th to 22nd 2023.
